Bristol Film Festival is delighted to present a 30th anniversary screening of the beloved comedy Withnail and I, and is thrilled to announce that Paul McGann will be joining us for the occasion. In addition to the film screening, Paul will discuss the movie and its impact with Anna Smith, one of the
country’s leading film critics, with an opportunity for some audience Q&As.
This special event takes place at the Arnolfini, and will screen the recently restored print from the original camera negative, supervised and approved by director of photography Peter Hannan. It’s a rare opportunity to hear firsthand about this cult classic from one of the stars, and to enjoy it on the big screen as it was intended to be viewed. Tickets are limited, so be sure to get yours while stocks last.
