2018 marks the 20th Anniversary of The Vagina Monologues & V-Day, the global activist movement to end violence against all women and girls.
The award-winning ‘Vagina Monologues’ will be performed at the Trades Club, Hebden Bridge, on Sunday 25th February.
This fantastic benefit production is directed
by Kate Radford and event organiser Danielle Marns, and is performed, and creatively supported, by a collective of local women.
The Hebden Bridge V-Day celebration will take place to show our solidarity with the thousands of V-Day celebrations and benefit productions taking place all over the world during the month of February to also celebrate the anniversary, and therefore becomes
More than just a theatrical experience; it is an ARTISTIC UPRISING, a RADICAL act, an ACT OF RESISTANCE.
Come along and be part of it!
Revisit the experience of hearing women’s global voices and stories, or come and enjoy Eve Enslers’ The Vagina Monologues for the very first time!
It is an evening of performance, art and music definitely not to be missed..!
All proceeds raised will directly benefit a local service which works to end violence against women and girls: The Women’s Centre, Calderdale & Kirklees.
