To commemorate International Women's Day, and the 150th anniversary of the TUC, we are hosting a conference to celebrate women in trade unionism. Open to women officers and staff directly employed by a trade union.
This event will mark the launch of the TUC Yorkshire & Humber regional women trade union
officers network, and the Women in Leadership programme.
The aim of this event is an opportunity to meet with our trade union colleagues, and to see if there is an interest in establishing a regional network on an on-going basis. If we do set up a women’s network in the future, then what we might actively do to make positive differences to each other in particular and to the movement in general?
There will be opportunities to network with fellow women officials and to find out more about:
• the Union Professionals TUC Women’s Summer School
• the Women in Leadership programme (TUC Y&H & TU Education)
• the new TUC regional equalities forum
