In this interactive session, Dr Lucy Andrew will take you on a journey through the history of the world’s most famous girl sleuth, Nancy Drew, with particular emphasis on Nancy’s 21st century incarnations and some of the radical transformations she has undergone during this period.
Alongside a lecture
session, there will be an opportunity for you to discuss your own experiences and memories of Nancy Drew, plus a workshop session engaging Nancy Drew texts from various eras. Nancy Drew fans are most welcome to bring along their own texts and memorabilia to share with the group.
