The Jolly Fisherman School Outing
Friday 3rd August
School’s out for summer, and everyone is invited to join staff and pupils for an end of term St Trinian’s themed evening on board a steam train complete with fish and chip supper.
The evening begins with Assembly at 6.30 pm sharp – latecomers will receive
detention. Head Mistress Miss Frinton will give an end of term speech, before a musical number is performed by the School Orchestra who have practised on and off (more off) for several days.
Everybody is then invited onto the steam train, where an ‘O’ Level Examination will take place, for which a prize will be awarded – as long as you can prove you didn’t cheat. Teachers and pupils will mix with everybody on the train to help or hinder you with this task.
School dinners will be taken onboard at Bogchester Central and served by our very own staff and pupils as we head along the line. Given the history of our young ladies, we recommend being very polite during meal service.
Enjoy a drink from our on board bar while you have a good look at locomotive
• Traditional Fish & Chip supper as our train makes its way through the Nene Valley
• Guests will be seated at tables of four*
