Goldsmiths Palestine Society is delighted to invite you to an evening talk to discuss Elias Nasrallah’s book “Testimonies on the First Century of Palestine”. The book is a combination of Palestinian historic narrations of the last 100 years, witnessed by the author, his family and friends and inspired
by his personal life and his career as a journalist. Not only does the book expose Israeli apartheid in 1948 Palestine, West Bank and the Gaza strip, but also reveal his relationship with the Palestinian Artist Naji Al Ali who was based in london and assassinated in 1987.
Elias Nasrallah is a Palestinian writer and journalist based in the UK since 1979. Nasrallah studied in Jerusalem before starting his journalistic work for several newspapers in Palestine and later founded Al talia'a newspaper. In London Elias continued his work in Journalism as the london correspondent and editor for several newspapers in the Gulf including. He is also the author of Saudi Arabia and the Fiction of Alternative History - A Critical Reading of Munif's Quintet
