Late entries will be available subject to availability, there will be a £2 additional fee per entry.

Please note an entry into a show jumping class will mean your scores will count as both a team member (if entered with a team) and an individual. You only have to enter each show jumping class once.

Class heights: the class height is the maximum height of fences in the first section; fences in the jump-off section may be increased by up to 5cm over the class height.
ENTRY FEES:
Show Jumping classes: £10 per combination per class
Eventers Challenge classes £18 per combination per class
£2 First Aid per combination (one pony/one rider)
Rosettes: to sixth place for individuals and teams in each class.
ENTRY ONLINE VIA EQUO EVENTS:
If you are entering a show jumping class as part of a team, please out the team name in the comments section. If you don’t know the team name please put your Riding Club or Pony Club Branch or Centre. Eventers Challenge classes are only for individuals, without the team element.
TEAM MANAGERS: please ensure that all your competitors are aware of all the Rules and Notices and Disclaimers.
CLOSING DATE: Thursday before the competition. If classes are full before the closing date, then a waiting list will be held. Start Time: Class 1, will not start before 08:30.
TIMES: start lists with times will be in the documents section of Equo Events, and Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre’s Facebook page; by the Friday evening before the competition.
PRIZEGIVING: class presentations will be un-mounted about 25 minutes after the end of the class by the Secretary area
EVENTERS CHALLENGE: A 2 Phase horse trial on our all weather surface.
The first section is over show jumps, followed by a timed section over natural fences in the arena, then its off onto the all weather loops for the next section over natural obstacles.
Competitors must enter the start box and wait for the bell before beginning the 2nd phase over natural obstacles.
Overall the winner and runners up will be those that achieve clear round in both phases with the fastest time over the timed section.
DISCLAIMERS 1. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee, or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land , cars/ lorries/trailers, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
3. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Tumpy Green Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover them.
RULES AND NOTICES
1. Teams to be made up of 3 or 4 combinations, with the best three scores to count. The Eventers Challenge classes are for individuals only.
2. Substitutions allowed – please tell the Secretary (Entries before the day, Show on the day).
3. Pre-entries are essential as entries will be limited. If you miss the closing date please ring/ email the Entries Secretary for available spaces. A waiting list will be held if necessary.
4. Withdrawal refunds given on receipt of a relevant doctor/vet certificate received (please enclose an s.a.e.)
5. If the show is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, entry fees will be refunded on receipt of an s.a.e. Any refund will be subject to an administration fee.
6. TIMES WILL BE GIVEN – please see the documents section of Equo Events. Competitors may be asked to jump up to 15 minutes before their given time – please be ready.
7. Warm-up Arena – the number of competitors may be restricted; please obey the steward’s instructions as to when you can use the warm-up.
8. Children must not jump in the warm-up arena without an accompanying adult.
9. Each horse/pony may only compete once in each and in a maximum of four classes. Stallions are allowed only with prior permission from the Entries Secretary via the Rider’s DC and must wear stallion discs and ribbons. All horse/ponies must be at least 4 years old on day of competition.
10. Any abuse of horses/ponies, officials, other competitors or members of the public will not be tolerated and those found doing so will be asked to leave the venue with no compensation and may be reported to the relevant authority.
11. Judges’ decision is final. Any objection must be handed to the Show Secretary in writing with a £20 deposit (which will be forfeited if the objection is not upheld) within 15 minutes of the incident and BEFORE the prize-giving for that class.
12. INSURANCE; please ensure that you have adequate/appropriate insurance for rider, horse, property and third party.
13. PHOTOGRAPHS: by entering this competition you are agreeing to be photographed whilst competing; these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not wish to be photographed please tell the photographer on entering the arena, before you jump.
14. Participants attend at their own risk; neither the Committee nor Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre will be liable for any loss, damage or accident to horses, riders, property or other persons.
15. No horses/ponies should be left tied to the outside of trailers/lorries without supervision. Please clear any muck/rubbish and do not leave on the lorry park. Please be aware that there is no gate between the lorry park and the main road.
16. The show will be run under The Pony Club Show jumping Rules 2018.
