Spotlight Music Presents: Weakdaze, Japanese TV Club, No Teeth, Cheap Lunch

SpotlightUK would like to welcome back Weakdaze and Japanese TV Club.
Unfortunately due to sickness the boys couldn't play our last show but we know how much you guys wanted to see them play...so here you are!

Plus two of our favourite local bands will be making an appearance; No Teeth and Cheap Lunch

Our last show sold out!! So make sure you buy tickets or get your name on the wall early for guest list.

Weakdaze
This Geordie five piece have had a very successful 2017, with some high profile regional appearances at the likes of NARC Fest and Meet the North under their belt.
Despite being often labeled as emo/alt rock, the lads are by no means limited to these genres, often delving into punky attitudes while also bringing something much more unique to table.
The band’s sound ranges from heart wrenching to outright catchy and should have something to cater to all tastes.

japanese tv club
From across the Wear we have the ever intriguing lofi lads in Japanese TV Club.
Fuzzy and chaotic at times, melancholic and introspective at others, the focus is clearly not just on aesthetics with these guys…but they do sound flipping awesome.
The creativity at work here is undeniable and these artists are earning themselves a much deserved and dedicated following that continues to grow with every successful show.

No Teeth
Experimental, in your face and difficult to pin down, No Teeth are somehow all these things yet intriguing and oddly captivating.
Rumbling, unstoppable tracks create an environment that is impossible not to get lost in, and shuffle along to inexorably.
Despite being often labelled as emo/alt rock, the lads are by no means limited to these genres, often delving into punky attitudes while also bringing something much more unique to table. by feeling right at home no matter what the venue and we’re confident you’ll understand when you witness it.

Cheap Lunch
Rounding off the solid lineup is fuzz-laden three-piece Cheap Lunch who have been causing a ruckus across the local scene recently, and show no sign of stopping anytime soon.
How do we sum these sounds up? post-punky psychedelic garage rock? Basically, a melting pot of all that and more…
What is already an intriguing and arresting bunch of artists just got a whole lot more interesting, please do yourself a favour and check them out

We can't wait for another class show. See you all soon
