Running in conjunction with the Royston Junior Open for the 18-hole category.Age and distance-related divisions.

Boys & Girls will play a combined event, unless sufficient entries are received to all separate events.

6 & Under (blue tee) – 9 holes – Gross
7-8 (black tee) – 9 holes – Gross
9-10 (red

tee) – 9 holes – Gross
Age-related tees on shortened courses over nine holes.
Once younger players obtain a CONGU handicap, they can, if they choose, play in either their own age group competition or the full 18-hole white (boys) or red (girls) tee event.

Age 11-13 (red tee) – 18 holes – Gross
Once younger players obtain a CONGU handicap, they can, if they choose, play in either their own age group competition or the full 18-hole white (boys) or red (girls) tee event.

18-Hole Division – Handicap Qualifier – All official CONGU Handicaps

Age 14-17, boys (white tee) and girls (red tee) – 18 holes – Gross and Net
Competitions for players with a CONGU handicap, played over 18 or 36 holes.

Born between 25th June 2008 – 24th June 2009 Age 9
Born between 25th June 2007 – 24th June 2008 Age 10
Born between 25th June 2006 – 24th June 2007 Age 11
Born between 25th June 2005 – 24th June 2006 Age 12
Born between 25th June 2004 – 24th June 2005 Age 13
Born between 25th June 2003 – 24th June 2004 Age 14
Born between 25th June 2002 – 24th June 2003 Age 15
Born between 25th June 2001 – 24th June 2002 Age 16

Younger players with handicaps may play over 9 holes in their respective age group or over 18 holes off the white tees.
Older players without handicaps will be encouraged to obtain their first handicap or use this event towards their qualifying scores.

Trophies are awarded in each division, depending on the following conditions:

18-Hole Division (White tee – boys; Red tee – girls)
Top 3 Gross + Top 3 Net (only 1 prize may be claimed on the day)

9-Hole age groups & 18-Hole 11-13 age group
Ten or more players – Top three.
Between five to nine players – Top two.
Three to four players – Winner only.
In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by countback in the usual way.
Spot prizes may also be on offer at certain events.

The presentation will take place after play in each division has finished. This is an important part of every event, since it allows players and families to socialise and is an excellent opportunity to interact with other players. So we always encourage players to stay for the presentation.
