Ever wanted to help break a World Record?
The world record for “Most Nationalities Collecting Litter” is just 60! That means we need to get representatives from 60 different countries to collect litter at the same time. The attempt will be made at 1pm on Friday 2 March and we need to collect at least
one bag of litter between two people, so it is going to really help to clear up campus too. The attempt needs to take place entirely on campus and is part of the national Great British Spring Clean “Keep Britain Tidy” campaign.
This is an official world record attempt, approved by Guinness World Records. We are delighted to announce that the Mayor of Runnymede will be joining us officially open the attempt.
Confirmation of nationality will be required in advance of the event taking place. Even if your nationality is already represented, you can come along and join in on our biggest litter pick ever! Students who volunteer will also be able to earn Passport Points for their involvement.
