We're joined by the boys behind Pig & Porter this January for our first event of 2018. They're coming down from Tunbridge Wells with 6 fresh brews on tap and plenty more in package. Their story started in a shed and turned 6 years old on New Year's Eve - and their best brews are below...
DIPA, 10.5% - This is the double version of Pig & Porter’s outstanding Mango Daiquiri IPA. A big fleshy fruity mango and hop bomb! Hopped with Mosaic, Centennial and Exp431 before a generous addition of Mango puree. Bring your best Hawaiian shirts!
Honey Hill Wit, 5% - A witbier with honey, hopped with Saaz and Sorachi ace. Originally a home brew recipe of Sean’s made with honey sourced from Phil Hutt’s Bees! Phil lives in Honey Hill, just outside Canterbury.
Primordial Sup, 4.4% - A session IPA created by Pig & Porter and Primordial Radio. This light and refreshing IPA is hopped with Ahtanum, Eukanot and Zythos. Expect vibrant flavours and aromas of Pineapple, Citrus and Pine!
Soft Black Drizzle, 4.4% - This classic London Porter has been infused with Chocolate for added decadence. Hints of dark berries and vanilla balance against a roasty malt backbone. Delicious!
No Turning Back, 5.7% - A single hopped Saison with Sorachi Ace and Orange peel. A complex and funky saison with flavours of citrus, coconut and spice! For lovers of Sorachi Ace, this beer is a must try!
Sandstorm, 4.9% - A hop forward Lager with Saaz and Exp 431. Lightly fruity and grainy with a bitter finish.
