Malaya Blue

Malaya Blue exploded onto the UK Blues scene in 2015 following the release of her debut album 'Bourbon Street'. By the end of that year she had 4 nominations for the British Blues Awards, unprecedented for a new artist. In addition she found herself as a finalist in the British Blues Challenge.
Her follow

up album 'Heartsick' was released in 2016 and included guest appearances by Paul Jones who is a big Malaya fan and supporter – they have enjoyed performing together onstage when the opportunity arises. 'Heartsick' received universal warm reviews and continues to gain airplay around the globe. Her status as one of the UK's outstanding vocalists enables Malaya to ensure her live band is made up of a core of the very best performers on the circuit.
A sublime cover of the Box Tops classic 'The Letter' coupled with new original 'The Corner' were recently released as a single and have found Malaya a whole new set of fans. Now hard at work on writing album number three, live performances this year may be slightly more limited but the quality of the musicians and Malaya’s charismatic stage presence ensures more memorable nights throughout 2018.
With Malaya will be: Ash Wilson (guitar), Stuart Uren (bass), Paul Jobson ( keys), Andrew McGuinness (drums)
