Chirnside Chasers are completing a gruelling charity challenge that will see us run from John O’Groats to Land’s End in just 12 days. The 32 participants – aged from 12 to 62 and including six youngsters hope to raise vital funds for British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland and BLISS.
We will set off
on 8 July and will cover 900 miles before arriving in Land’s End on 19 July. We are doing the challenge as a relay with two teams covering the route. It will be in a relay style with one or two runners out at a time, running about 5 miles at a time. Runners are supported by a cyclist on the road as well support vehicles.
Day 4 on Wednesday 11 July sees us leaving Ardlui at 8.00am before travelling through Tarbert, Dumbarton, Clydebank, Glasgow city centre, Hamilton, Larkhall before finishing at Eddington near Lanark.
