Jeff Lynne’s ELO have announced an eight date UK arena tour for next year that includes Newcastle Metro Radio Arena

The band will kick off the run of shows at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on September 30, 2018, taking in further dates in Glasgow, Manchester,
Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds and London, before wrapping up with a set at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on October 23.
They're known for their epic live shows which combines rock, pop and classical music, which they will bring to UK Arenas.
They are best known for their hits including Mr. Blue Sky, Livin' Thing and Evil Woman.
Meanwhile frontman Jeff Lynne has co-produced albums for Liverpool's own George Harrison and Paul McCartney over the years.
Previously ELO have performed huge sets at the likes of Hyde Park and the legend slot at Glastonbury Festival .
ELO have had twenty six UK top 40 singles over the past 40 years, selling more than 50 million records worldwide.
Looking ahead to the shows, Lynne says: “Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. We can’t wait to play for them again.”
Tickets will go on sale from 9am on Friday, November 17.
