Join us at the sunflower centre on Tuesday March the 20th from 11am to 12pm for a organic weeding educational, experiential weeding and sowing veg and herbs from seed , starting them off inside to give them the best chance. We may well (veg to be confirmed) be sewing Onions, chillies and peppers as well
as herbs. I will also be giving a small talk about the vision for the sunflower garden. Free tea and coffee.

Its a great way to get outdoors, meet other people, learn new skills and be a part of the amazing Brockley community.
Workshops will include: growing from seed, planting out, potting on, propagation, green manures, composting, compost teas , pruning , identifying plants, weed workshops, how to garden organically, how to support the food soil web , no dig, encourage wildlife and biodiversity, pond care , garden design, permaculture principles, basics of medicinal herbs, how being in the garden can support your mental health and many many more.

Workshops are run by Cat Flannery, trained Horticulturist and Permaculture guild graduate, employee of Living Medicine charity, and Permablitz London, Owner of The Mindfulgardener.org and mental health support worker with over 8 years of experience working in mental health and 12 years in the charitable industry.
