Experience Otterburn Walk - Battle of Otterburn Anniversary

629 years since the Battle of Otterburn - 19th August 1388 (according to English sources) - this 10km circular walk takes in the battle site and the history and habitats surrounding Otterburn.

We'll journey through time visiting battle sites, Iron Age settlements and a bastle house from the time of

Border Reivers.

10.30 - meet in Otterburn at The Coach House to register and have a cuppa

11.00 - set off on walk

14.30 - arrive back at start venue for a bite to eat and a drink (included in price).

Cost per person - £15 (includes parking, drink on arrival, guided walk and refreshments after walk).

{The walk is across varying terrain and you will need the correct footwear/clothing. In the event of severe weather the walk may be cancelled. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on lead at all times}.

Well behaved dogs (this excludes my dog) which are kept on leads at all times are welcome.

Parking at the event?

Free parking will be available.

How easy is the walk?


The walk is across varying terrain and some hill climbing is involved. Good solid footwear is essential and as the weather can't be predicted you must ensure your clothing fits the conditions.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are non refundable within 14 days of the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. All you need is the booking surname on arrival.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, that's fine.
