DAVE

RETURNS WITH ‘QUESTION TIME’

TAKEN FROM BRAND NEW ‘GAME OVER’ EP

RELEASED NOVEMBER 3RD

NOV/DEC UK TOUR ANNOUNCED

INCLUDING HEADLINE SHOW AT LONDON KOKO - DECEMBER 3RD

“One

of the country's most compelling new voices.” – Crack

“The urban scene's heir apparent” – Noisey

“A versatile, passionate rapper — and a prodigious talent whose skills aren’t confined to a pen, pad, and microphone.” – The FADER

Today sees teen prodigy Dave return with enthralling new track ‘Question Time’ from his highly-anticipated sophomore EP ‘Game Over’, out this Nov 3rd. A perfect illustration of the social commentary and intelligent wordplay that Dave has become synonymous with since he burst onto the scene in early 2016, ‘Question Time’ finds the 19-year-old addressing social issues from NHS budget cuts to Grenfell Tower, the war in Syria and Brexit, with production from long-term collaborator Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Stormzy, Kano). The impactful visuals were directed by Nathan James Tettey & Dave, which you can watch HERE.

Dave has spent 2017 thus far displaying his impressive versatility across a number of stand-alone tracks. ‘Question Time’ follows recent releases ‘Tequila’, ‘100Ms’, ‘Revenge’, and J Hus collaboration ‘Samantha’, with this video alone racking up nearly 28 million views to date. ‘Question Time’ is the first track to be unveiled from Dave’s highly anticipated sophomore ‘Game Over’ EP, set for release on Friday 3rd November. The full tracklisting for the ‘Game Over’ EP can be found below while you can pre-order the EP HERE.

In addition to the ‘Game Over’ EP announcement, Dave has also announced details of a forthcoming November & December headline tour in support of the release, his most extensive yet. With his first UK headline tour in March selling out in just one hour, a similar level of interest is anticipated around these new dates. Dave will start the run of shows on November 22nd in Glasgow, finishing up on December 3rd with a landmark homecoming show at the legendary KOKO in Camden. Full details of Dave’s UK headline tour can be found below. Tickets are on sale from Thursday 12th October from www.santandave.com.

Having left a lasting mark on the UK urban scene with the release of his debut ‘Six Paths’ EP last September (which debuted at #6 on the iTunes album chart & #1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart), Dave has spent this year consolidating his position as one of the most exciting talents this country has seen in a long time. In the space of twelve short months, he’s toured North America with AJ Tracey, made appearances on releases from the likes of Drake and Giggs, covered CRACK Magazine and stopped by ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ for his debut television appearance. After a slew of show-stopping festival sets at the likes of Glastonbury, Wireless, Melt, Latitude and Reading this summer, the stage is now set for Dave to cement his reputation as THE British artist to watch.
