This workshop hosted by the lovely Jo Lee will give us time together to dig deeper into the Word and then respond creatively.
Often in church or at conferences we hear great messages but never really have the opportunity to process what we have learnt and apply it to our own life or circumstances.
Well at this event there will be space carved into the day for just that.
Jo, as well as been incredibly skilled in her craft, has a genuine passion to see women flourish. So come along to hear a fresh and hopeful teach on the Proverbs 31 woman (if you've been put off by her before, don't let that stop you, Jo's teaching will leave you encouraged. Who doesn't want to have a heart that laughs without fear of the future?) and after tea and cake we’ll move into a guided needle felted workshop.
Jo will show you the basic techniques so no prior experience is necessary. We’ll create our own needle felted pieces of art as we reflect on what God is saying to each of us.
Bring along a journal and any inspiration you might have for your needle felt piece. Everything else is provided on the day including lunch.
A special encouragement to those of you who feel nervous or unsure of expressing yourself creatively....take a risk and give it a go! Whatever you make is personal and stepping out in fresh ways in your walk with Jesus is always rewarding.
The cost is £25 for the event. That includes all craft materials, refreshments, lunch and a £5 donation to A21 women's charity.
