| | | 10 Years of Freerange Tour - Birmingham | | |
It’s been quite a journey over the years for Freerange. From our inception in Oxford at the O2 Academy and The Cellar from 2008 onwards, to our spiritual home in Brighton at Sticky Mike’s and at Patterns from 2013, onto our second home in Bristol
in 2015, we feel very privileged to be where we are. We’ve done parties all over the country and we are honoured to still be bringing events to you all this time later.
A big thanks is in order to all who have danced with us over the years, everyone who has performed at an event and those who have helped to promote or run one of our shows.
It’s a story that couldn’t have been written without you all. Salute!
As we rapidly approach our 10th year of operating we have spent the last few months hard at work curating a tour to celebrate all things Freerange. Some of the line ups on the tour are amongst the best we’ve ever put together and as it’ll be our 10th birthday next year we are running 10 events in 10 different cities in a 10 week period to celebrate.
We touch down in Birmingham for the first time at Amusement 13. Along for the ride, we bring one of the weightiest 140 line ups Birmingham has seen in recent years...
Heading up the bill is one half of DMZ, and the man responsible for some of dubstep’s most iconic riddims, Coki. We’re thrilled to be bringing one of dubstep’s pioneers to Birmingham alongside a host of other Freerange favourites.
Next up is Sir Spyro, arguably grime’s biggest DJ and a purveyor of everything 140 it is with great pleasure that we pay host to him for what is set to a massive show.
Off the back of one of the biggest 140 releases of 2017 it’s a pleasure to host dubstep legend Joker. Mad Night has been shutting down raves all over the world so we’re gassed to have Joker himself playing at this one.
Last but most certainly not least is Kromestar. A man with an incredibly versatile production style that ranges from his more mellow grime stuff under his IronSoul moniker to much deeper, heavier dubstep under his more recognised alias Kromestar.
