By popular request, we are back at the Runnymede Hotel again for our 2017 Xmas party. For £50 a head (price held from last year), you’ll get a drink on arrival, 3 course meal with half a bottle of wine each, tea/coffee, mini mince pies, crackers and a post dinner disco. We will have tables of 10 and
there will be no prior seating plan.
If you want to stay over at the hotel, you can book a single room for £105 B&B basis or £115 for a double (a discount from the usual £145/£169). Guests then have use of the hotel’s spa.
As the hotel are catering for several Xmas parties that night, we are restricted on the menu, but as you’ll remember from last year, the food is delicious.
The menu for carnivores is:-
Starter – salmon fishcakes with a lemon and dill sauce
Mains – roast turkey with chestnut stuffing, brussel sprouts, braised red cabbage, carrots, roast potatoes, chipolatas and bacon, cranberry sauce and jus
Dessert – a trio of chocolate and chestnut delice, cranberry and orange cheesecake and caramel pecan ice cream (that means you get all 3, you don’t need to choose between them for those unfamiliar with the phrase “trio”!)
The menu for vegetarians is:-
Starter – sweet potato croquettes and red onion marmalade with a winter leaf and clementine salad and toasted seeds
Mains – caramelised root vegetable and chickpea wellington, brussel sprouts, braised red cabbage, roast potatoes, parsley sauce
Dessert - a trio of chocolate and chestnut delice, cranberry and orange cheesecake and caramel pecan ice cream
When booking, you need to let me know EITHER meat OR vegetarian, that is all. If you have any specific dietary requirements/allergies, please let me know and we can cater separately for you.
There is only one way to book which is to pay for your tickets. I cannot reserve any tickets (including via facebook messages) and we are limited to a maximum of 100 diners, so first come first served! Bookings close on 30 November.
