Clear out your forgotten clothes, get your hands on some new, and practically take a stand against Modern Day Slavery.
Want to change up your wardrobe, change fast fashion culture, and reduce your contribution to slavery in the fashion industry?
Just Love are hosting a ‘Clothes Swap’ to raise awareness
and take action against Modern Day Slavery in the clothing industry. Think snacks, drinks, live music, bargain hunting, and the chance to hear more about Modern Day Slavery and what YOU can be doing to take a stand against it.
The event is going to take place at the Appleby Rooms on the 10th February: time to be confirmed!
We would love for you to take part by donating your ‘gently used’ clothing to one of our drop off points - keep an eye out on here for where those will be!
We will have a token system: The more clothes you donate, the more tokens you will then be given to purchase items with at the event.
If you don’t have clothes to clear out, don’t fear, all items we receive will be priced at ‘bargain rates’ so that you don’t miss out!
All money raised will be donated to International Justice Mission and City Hearts, organisations which you will hear more about at the event, both of which are doing tremendous work locally and internationally to combat Modern Slavery.
