Chanting for Life! with Sarah Westwood

Chanting is an amazingly simple yet powerful way to reach deep states of relaxation, inner connection and awakening - an ACTIVE mindfulness practice that is expressive, beautiful and joyful ♥♥♥

Mantra chanting has been used by spiritual traditions across the ages to help us develop calm and focus,

and to turn our minds towards the divine. Mind-expanding, deeply relaxing, grounding, uplifting, empowering... Chanting calms our nervous system and releases feel-good hormones – and it feels amazing. You don't need a strong voice - the waves of sound we create together carry us all into connection...and bliss :-)

Sarah's fortnightly workshops include exercises to open our voices, simple sanskrit mantras for the chakras, and short periods of beautiful silent and guided meditation.

Come and enjoy!

More on chanting...

The sanskrit words - 'Man' and 'Tra' - mean 'mind' and 'liberate' - and that is what chanting does for us. It takes us out of the stresses that our minds become preoccupied with, and helps us to experience the peace and 'heartfulness' of our true selves.

· Revitalises us through the deep, rhythmic breath and sound vibration – a wonderful internal massage

· Balances our nervous and endocrine systems, calming and uplifting us

· Awakens us to a strong, loving connection with ourselves, each other and the universal energy.

Your voice is a wonderful tool for transformation. Please don’t worry if you are not able to sing in tune – we are expressing from our hearts!
