Described by the book of British Hit Singles & Albums as "the tartan teen sensations of Edinburgh" they were the most screamed at band of the era and became universal teen idols for a fervent period dubbed as Rollermania".

Sell-out tours followed along with a 20 week TV series "Shang-A-Lang".
in 1975 a cover of the Four Seasons "Bye Bye Baby" stayed at Number 1 in the charts for six weeks. becoming the biggest-selling single of the year, with the follow up "Give A Little Love" also reaching the top spot.
As their popularity swelled to superstardom, they hit Number 1 in the States with "Saturday Nights" and their "Bay City Rollers" album also went to Number 1.

Further hits followed in North America and their fame spread worldwide , achieving cult like status in Australia and the Far East. On April 26th every year, thousands of fans still congregate in Los Angeles to celebrate "Bay City Rollers Day".

With legendary singer Les McKeown still at the helm, a Rollers gig is a magical musical and visual trip down memory lane!
