Battle of the Burger returns to Wylam Brewery, our once a year pilgrimage to our self made mecca of burger and beer. We celebrate year 3 on Exhibition Park as we continue to collaborate with our friends to bring the biggest celebration of patty in bun in the UK. Amongst the trees, inside outside, beyond the pond, within the Palace of the Arts, we present a weekend for all, to consume ALL.
The same format applies, each of our 10 burger specialists will provide a 100g (patty weight) burger/slider for mass consideration! The deal... £3.00 per burger. With the objective to ‘catch them all’ and if that still doesn’t leave you satisfied, fill your boots with fries, dessert, gin, and more beer.
Winner takes all.
This is an opportunity for kitchens to flex those muscles and present something truly special whilst representing their menu overall. This really is Top Gun for burger purveyors with Wylam as our Miramar. As always we’re showcasing burgers from near and far in an attempt to keep those local vendors on their toes. As always there can be only one!
As always this is a FREE entry event.
Obviously the event will be washed down with an array of beers & ales courtesy of our host Wylam Brewery. We’ll be taking over their rear terrace, tap room, and main hall across both days. All to the sound of the cities finest DJs and beatmakers curated by one20 at the helm .
(Playing to table tops until midnight).
The more the merrier.
