Celebrate seven years of artistic experimentation with us! in the Banner Repeater Fundraiser 2017!
Double y/our Money!!
from Tuesday 17 October via our Local Giving fundraiser
Celebrate with us at our Fundraising
with live performance from Benedict Drew + dj Chooc Ly Tan
Wednesday 8th November, Somerset House studios
We believe that artist-led spaces play an essential role in the vitality and economy of the art world, offering alternative opportunities for both emerging and established artists alike, to produce work that might struggle to appear elsewhere.
The fundraiser directly supports:
• New Commissions of Artworks, Artists’ Publishing and Performance
• New Commissions of public talks generating vital discussion of art today
• ...and ensures that excellent and challenging art remains visible in a busy public space
We can’t do this without you!
As a Community Interest Company we are part of a Local Giving fundraising scheme starting on Tues 17th Oct 10am.
• Make a one-time donation and it will be matched up to £10.
• If you are able to make a regular donation over a year of £10 per month (an annual contribution of £120), Local Giving will top this up with £60, so that your donations will be worth £180 to us.
The scheme lasts until Local Giving run out of money – so please donate on or soon after 17th October to ensure this happens (not before - it doesn’t count).
We want to thank-you for your support - so each donation receives a complimentary raffle ticket in our prize draw, plus annual membership with free entry to the fundraiser raffle event with live music performance from Benedict Drew and Chooc Ly Tan, at Somerset House studios on the 8th November.
The raffle will be drawn at 9pm with artworks by artists Yuri Pattison, Jenna Sutela, Melanie Jackson, Zarina Muhammad, Anne de Boer, and more... to be won!
This year we've worked hard to develop successful new partnerships with Transport for London and Arriva Rail, so that Banner Repeater’s future is assured for years to come. With many thanks also to Five Points Brewing and the kind support of Somerset House Studios, and especially to all the wonderful artists who have so generously donated work.
"Banner Repeater redefines what galleries can do. Nurturing the quieter parts, the riskier parts, the parts in-between and what’s missing, it’s not only an art-place, it’s also a conversational and
social nerve-centre." Heather Phillipson, artist and poet - upcoming projects include: the Fourth Plinth,Trafalgar Square 2020.
