ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS
GARY AND BAMBI GOODMAN EXHIBITION PRIVATE VIEW
Bambi and Gary Goodman, by virtue, happen to be father and daughter. They are both artists. This is their first joint show since their trip to Tokyo in 2015.
Separately and together, Gary and Bambi have Exhibited all over the world,
from London, the the USA, Estonia and back to Tokyo.
As history dictates, Private Views and Exhibitions suffer from a stale and formal quality; a stiffness that is often softened by free wine. However, our wish to to create an exciting, warm and gregarious space full of strange and beautiful images to make you laugh, cry and fall in love. You can expect hanging scrolls, giant ink drawings, a cardboard sculpture menagerie, large scale paintings and a selection of unique prints for those on a budget.
You can hope to see high heels, twisted tree trunks, skirts lifted, larks singing their little hearts out, sticking out tongues, kimonos, cowboy boots, skeletons falling in love, long black hair, long legs, black cats and Japanese school girls.
This show is sexy, sensitive and strange, but most of all it will be fun.
The Private View will be in the main Art Gallery and the Show itself will be ongoing until June.
Gary Goodman will be performing some poetry (stand up misery)
We hope to see you there for what will be sure to be a fantastic afternoon.
