AJ Christou has been fascinated by the power of the drum for ten

years, and has now honed his own vital and visceral sound. It has made him one of the most exciting house artists of the day, has lead to him releasing on The Martinez Brothers’s influential Cuttin Headz label and playing at places like Sankeys and The Warehouse Project as well as running his own label Celesta. An obsessive music collector and admirer of film scores since youth, his Greek roots have brought wider cultural reference points to his output. He knows how to get the most out of his machines and come up with fresh new perspectives each and every time. As a dexterous vinyl and digital DJ who likes to keep himself and his crowd guessing, AJ Christou usually plays four decks on Traktor so he can mix, drop acapellas and FX and layer percussion he has produced himself into the mix. All this means his sets and productions have a unique musical identity that mark him out from the crowd, and that’s exactly where AJ Christou belongs.

DJ and label owner Sian Bennett has held down regular sets in iconic venues such as The Warehouse Project and Sankeys, on top of residencies across the Liverpool and London club circuit. Sian has also performed across the UK, including sets at EGG London, CIRCUS Liverpool and The Rainbow under her belt, as well as gigs in Malta, Amsterdam, Space ibiza and Sankeys Ibiza. Her ear for groove-laden house and techno has also led to festival appearances at Parklife, The Social Festival and AMP Lost & Found.

After a busy summer, Sian has been releasing on her co-founded imprint e1even records with Lauren Lo Sung. Artists on the label include Jerome.c, Ben Rau and James Dexter, and the releases have received support from the likes of Clive Henry, Ryan Crosson, Archie Hamilton, Traumer, Ilario Alicante, Vinyl Speed Adjust, David Gtronic, Tania Vulcano and many more household names.
